
LAUREN OTTERMAN
Program Manager
Lauren Otterman is a Program Manager at the MRCT Center. She joined the MRCT Center in June 2022 and has previously held the Project Manager position at the MRCT Center. Lauren is primarily involved in the Center’s capacity-building work, where most recently she developed a series of online, on-demand trainings on ethical review of interventional clinical research in collaboration with WHO. Prior to joining the MRCT Center, Lauren worked in the Boston non-profit sector.
Lauren obtained her Master of Bioethics and Health Law degree from the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand. Her thesis focused on the ethical, legal, and social impacts of emerging reproductive technologies, specifically artificial womb technologies. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and Philosophy from Boston College.
