Core Competencies Workshop drew Participants from around the World

On October 19, 2016, 52 participants from academia, industry, non-profit organizations, professional associations and regulatory agencies gathered at Harvard Faculty Club for a workshop on “Core Competencies in Clinical Research: Real World Applications, Convergence and Evolution of Framework.”

This workshop focused on the evolution of the Harmonized Core Competencies Framework for the Clinical Research Professional which was first published in 2014 by the Joint Task Force (JTF) for Clinical Trial Competence of which the MRCT Center is a member.

20161019, Wednesday, October 19, 2016, Cambridge, MA, USA, The Multi-Regional Clinical Trials Center of Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard held the 'Core Competencies in Clinical Research: Real World Applications, Convergence and Evolution of a Framework' workshop in the Harvard Faculty Club Reading Room on Wednesday morning October 19, 2016. The first Workshop session began with a presentation by the MRCT Center's Rebecca Li and was followed by Stephen Sonstein who introduced each speaker and followed on by moderating a panel discussion with Terri Hinkley, Subasree Srinivasan, Rebecca Brouwer, Denise Snyder, Thomas Perorazio, and Michelle Wartak. For the second session Rebecca Li moderated a follow on discussion with Joan Butler, Beth Harper, Penelope Jester, Robert Kolb, Greg Koski and Tammi Masters. ( lightchaser photography © 2016 )
