[vc_row][vc_column width=”2\/3″][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]The MRCT Center released the first iteration of the IRR initiative as guidance, principles, and toolkit documents in 2017<\/strong> after considering the ethical foundations, issues related to returning IRR, and exemplary case studies.<\/p>\n

These guidelines were proposed as a starting point, a beginning, from which we, as a community committed to transparency and trust, would learn. We anticipated that the guidelines, the principles, and the accompanying toolkit would improve and expand iteratively with greater experience, interaction, and feedback, and this website is evidence of that expansion.<\/p>\n
