Walker Morrell joined the MRCT Center as a Project Manager in September 2019. Walker manages the Bioethics Collaborative and the Research, Development, and Regulatory Roundtable (R3) forums, organizing and preparing content for the meetings as well as leading projects on the ideas that arise during discussion. Prior to joining the MRCT Center, Walker worked as a research collaborator with Duke University’s Science, Law, and Policy Lab, where he studied the ethics of sex robot technology and cryptocurrencies. He also has a background in life science research, interning in AgBiome’s nematology department and discovering novel biological agents to protect soybean crops.
Walker graduated with a B.S. in Chemistry from Centre College, and with a Master’s in Bioethics from Harvard Medical School.
