Laura Meloney, MSc, MPH, joined the MRCT Center in February 2019 as Program Manager and assumed the role of Program Director in 2022. Laura has over twelve years’ experience in designing, implementing, and managing clinical research and international development programs in East Africa and the United States of America. Prior to working at the MRCT Center, Laura managed health systems strengthening programs and clinical trials in East Africa for Harvard School of Public Health, Vodafone Foundation, and BBC Media Action. In addition to her international experience, Laura’s extensive global travel has further deepened her passion for clinical research, global health capacity building, and improving health systems.
Laura earned her Master of Public Health from Tufts University, School of Medicine and her Master of Science from Tufts University, Friedman School of Nutrition & Science Policy. Laura received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Union College.
